RICARDO VILLALOBOS - FABRIC 36

Chilean microhouse producer Ricardo Villalobos took his entry in the Fabric mix series in a slightly different direction than most. Instead of compiling his favorite electronic tracks and shouting himself out a time or two (as the Fabric-weavers are wont to do), Ricardo's Fabric 36 mix features one common thread: all the tunes are brand new Villalobos compositions (including several with collaborators -Jorge González, Patrick Ense, Andrew Gillings, Fumiya Tanaka-). The man's taste is impeccable!

Fabric 36 will be released through the London label October 23 in the U.S., September 24 in France, and September 10 in the UK and everywhere else. Meanwhile, Villalobos has a few DJ dates on the bubble, all of them in Ibiza. Wait, people in Ibiza like to dance?
